Welcome

I've been very fortunate in my professional career.  I was trained as an engineer with ambitions for business and management.  Early on, I was challenged to become an entrepreneurial leader or let down my colleagues, family, our customers and myself.  This transformation opened a whole new and exciting world to me and I've never looked back.  
I believe entrepreneurship can enable stronger economies and develop more effective people.  I'm still too energetic to fully retire and StreetSmart Entrepreneuring is my vehicle to help the next generation of entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Having said this, I have a more demanding entrepreneurship definition than most:
Entrepreneurs:   Build Successful Businesses by creating
                       Innovative Solutions to
                       Unmet Customer Needs

Entrepreneurs create discontinuities –
                                                                           They obsolete accepted practices and change behavior.

And always remember: Starting a business is easy. 
                                                                                               It's building a successful business that's hard.

It's your life and your career!  There are no silver bullets in real life.  You can and should seek advice, knowledge and guidance, but the hard work, uncertainty and risk are yours to bear.
